Well we made it to the new year by the Grace of God! I don't know what's in store for tomorrow, but I do know who holds tomorrow in His hands! No matter happens, I challenge you to place your hope fully in Christ! Just remember that He is with you continually and will never forsake you! Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope.

Deuteronomy 24:3 - "And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;"
From today’s message :
Let me tell you of some promises of God that come with seeking a life with Jesus….there’s freedom from sin’s dominion….through faith in Jesus, you never again have to be held in the bondage of sin….Romans 6:14, “For sin shall not have dominion over you…” The promise of grace that is sufficient, 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” He gives us the power to be obedient, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He has told us in His word how to have victory over the devil, James 4:7, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” He gives us a way to escape temptation, 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” God provides forgiveness when we confess our sin, 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” And with that, forgetfulness, Jeremiah 31:34, “No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Now this clean slate in no way means that you have the liberty to make a new list. And finally, a response when we call upon Him, Psalms 50:15, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
For the true believer, when urges to sin come, claim the promises. When pain comes, claim the promises. When deception comes, claim the promises. When testing and temptation comes, claim the promises. It’s these promises that enable us to escape the world’s corruption. Sexual sin, drunkenness, filth, misery…it will all come calling. And when it does…
Just claim God’s promises.
