God’s Will

How do I find God’s will for my life?
Great question.
Pray. There are many instances in Scripture that tells us to ask, to seek, to cry out and to be confident that He hears.
There is a catch though. Maybe. Somewhat. ‘Pends on how you look at it and if you’re not careful, you’ll miss it. John the apostle said in his letter, “We are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him.”
- 1 John 5:14
Did you see it? The Lord desires that you follow the path that is most pleasing to Him. This means that there’ll be times that it won’t be too pleasant for you.
Every day we make a hundred little decisions without thinking but for the believer who maybe doesn’t even realize it, the Lord is in every one of them. Prayer helps us to learn the value of every moment because we stopped to ask for guidance and direction. See that? When you’ll stop and ask, means it matters and if it matters to you, it matters to Him.
God cares about even the smallest details of your life. So don’t sweat the small stuff. I mean in the end, it’ll all be small stuff.
You want to know God’s will for your life? From the pastor to the fellow who just wants to be a good church member, the answer is the same. Ask for it. Then, be faithful.
And, patient. Good things indeed come to those who wait upon the Lord.
In the name of Jesus.
