Sometimes it’s what we pour into our lives that gives us a fit. No one else had anything to do with it. I tell my kids to walk into every room as if they own it. That’s not arrogance. Arrogance is insecurity and it comes from fear. It’s confidence. Confidence is being realistically sure of yourself and your own abilities.
The Bible says, “And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves.” Those people didn’t know who He was when He came busting up in there tearing things down. He wasn’t there because of who He thought He was either. It was because He KNEW who He was.
Whether you are at work, home, a ball game or the store, makes no difference. Remember who you are in Christ today.
There is great power in the knowing.
If you’re reading this, please know that I’m praying for you this day. I’m praying over some health issues. I’m praying over some family issues. I’m praying over some financial problems today. I’m praying over salvation this day. I’m praying somebody find the peace that has alluded them this week. I’m praying over friendships and fellowships.
The Bible says that, “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.”
Here is that word. Whatever you’re in the grip of right now, it is temporary. Rest assured, if you are In God’s hands, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
In the hustle and bustle of the season, be a blessing to someone. Remember, you don’t know where they came from and you’re all there for the same reason…
Be encouraged today. Have a great Saturday!
