This will help someone today.
“Be patient while it plays out. Stop losing your mind over something God has already worked out. If it’s His Will, it will happen.”
When I read that this morning, it made me think of how much time is wasted worrying over things that may never come to pass. Things are important to us. I get that. But fretting over them is a joy-killer. Seek peace in your days as each one that passes is the only chance that you get to live it.
If we trust the Lord in our best hour, we can certainly trust Him in our worst.
Reminds me of the verses in the book of Matthew 6 that read, “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Live for today, my friends! Leave tomorrow alone.
Have a great Thursday!
