If we’ll take a look at the people in our lives, we’ll see that some are always there while others are seasonal. I think that for the Christian, that is a part of God’s divine plan in maturing the believers purpose and goals for life.
After looking, we’ll see that not everyone who goes with you will grow with you. That’s why marriage should be ever evolving. I was 22 when I got married. I’m 57 today. Little did I know that the one I chose to do life with would also be the one that may have to nurse me through some hard times in the years to come.
Still though, we are left to wonder why He takes out good people. They probably were good. Just not for this moment.
Could be that the Lord has sent someone to help them with the things that you couldn’t. There’s certainly no shame in that. We should all desire the better part for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Cause sometimes, we get stuck too. We get stuck in a circumstance that takes our eyes off of Jesus. We’re there for awhile. Angry, disappointed, discouraged. Others can’t grow through us because we stopped.
Here’s a gift from the Lord for you today. You are on His heart. Not that it matters, you were on mine, too.
Be blessed.
Ecclesiastes 3:1, “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven…” Don’t be discouraged by your circumstances. It’s all temporary.
Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” The Lord knew you before you were you. He intends that you have victory after the fight; not defeat.
Romans 8:28, “And we know all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose.” You can do as much to change the circumstances of your life but there are some things that only God can do. And only He can do them because He is God. There’s a purpose. Trust Him.
1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” I know. It’s hard to believe. That doesn’t make it less true.
Be encouraged. Some of you reading this need to know that God loves you. He hasn’t left your side and you are not forgotten.
You hit a rough patch. So what! He still has a plan for your life and is standing at the ready to put it in place.
All you have to do is come back to Jesus. Then, get ready!
