I honestly believe that there are some folks who have gotten so into the habit of telling others where they are wrong that being critical of everything and everyone has become just a usual part of who they are.
Could it be that it’s because they can’t do it? 🤔
The reality is that no one has such great control of good sense to tell folks where they should be or how they should act, we hold a responsibility for being the example of life that they deserve to see. And, not to make it too hard for them to see it.
Besides, we all screw up sometimes.
The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11, “You must follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”
Even as I write this I have to ask myself if I am confident enough that I could say, “Hey y’all if you’ll just be like me, everything in your life will be okay.” The answer is that I can’t. Mistakes have been made. Scars and gray hair has been earned.
Truth is if everyone were like me, I’d be the only one happy. Happiness is fleeting. I need peace.
Don’t look at me like that. I ain’t Paul…and, I sure ain’t Jesus! Lol!!!
Please don’t read more into this than it deserves. The simple truth is that the voice that people should hear from the believer is one of peace and never should we mistake this strength for weakness.
But for right now, I think it’d be okay to be like me. I’m about to go have pancakes and bacon...😁
Lord bless you today. Be safe and try to stay dry.
P.S: We’re having prayer meeting tonight at 6pm. You’re all invited!
