Our kids are back in school. I was touched in tonight’s Bible study by the words of a couple of grandmothers who talked about how their kids are already being picked on and made fun of.
Our kids are anxious and overwhelmed today. They often deal with more than a young person should have to. Being subjected to bullying by their peers shouldn’t be added to the list of things they must endure just to go to school.
All I can do is pray for our children. Alex, Xavier, Brittney, Becca and Sammie, Alaina, Chloe, and Dylan, the kids in our church. They know that their pastor loves them and wishes nothing more than the Lord place a hedge of protection about them each day.
And yes, I’m praying for your kids too.
The Bible says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
That is my message to them and every kid that’s feeling the pressure of new surroundings and things they’ve never faced before.
You can do it!!!
