Been an unusual couple of weeks. While I know that probably millions of people have had a stent surgery, it was the circumstances around mine that was so unexpected.

Maybe I’ll tell you about it someday. I will say this. Lean into your faith today. And if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, seek for one. Days will pass when you wonder what He’s doing. Then, He shows up. Those are the days that as Christians, we long for. And I’ll tell you a secret. Jesus will do infinitely more for you than you will ever do for Him.

Storms come into every life. Best to prepare before they do. I found peace in this: Isaiah 41:13, “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
But for today, thank you to all of my friends who prayed, called and sent messages. Thank you to our church Christian Fellowship Church and all the churches who kept us in prayer. Very humbling to know that so many cared enough to lift us up before the Lord. Meant so much to us.

Thank you to those who showed up for us yesterday. Deborah Jo, Vicki, Pastor Eric, Pastor Jim and Ondria. Knowing that someone was there for Diane made the day easier for me and certainly for her. Diane’s the toughest, most caring and passionate person that I know. Still, she was afraid. She never said it. But I could tell. She knew the Lord had me. She knows the depth of my faith. It just made it better for her that these people were there.

So thank you all. I’ve gotten a reprieve. I intend to make the most of it. So here’s to the next 60 years…😁
Love to you all!
