There was once a battalion of soldiers in battle. They were pinned down by the enemy and saw no way of retreat much less survival.

They prayed. They prayed some more. All of a sudden, as if one by one, they began to notice the quiet.

They thought the war had ended but no one had told them. They came out of the rubble to see that all who were against them had vanished. They simply were not there.
In the deafening silence they realized this one thing. Both sides had stopped killing each other long enough to listen.

When there’s trouble, believer and unbeliever alike will pray like they’ve never prayed before.
It doesn’t take long though before man is back at each others throats seeking to gain dominance even when they know there’s enough of everything to go around. God made it that way.
I reckon some just want it more than others.
But how would the world be affected if millions of Christians would stop battling each other and unify just long enough to listen?

The Bible says, “Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly.”

-Psalm 85:8
Let that be your prayer today. Ask the Lord to show you kindness, love and peace. Then, you be a demonstration of that. It will come back to you.

But first, you have to stop.
