Just a thought to share with you this cool Saturday morning:

Did you ever think that knowing Jesus loves you but your not really loving Him could be the reason that you don’t yet feel comfortable in that relationship?

In this world, we can do as much good as we believe humanly possible and still have relationships that fail because the other person doesn’t “feel” loved. True love is reciprocated. It is action. It is felt. Truth is that it’s not really about how much good you can do anyway.

Don’t get messed up. This isn’t meant to say a person in this condition is not saved. They just haven’t fully trusted Jesus for the sustenance of life.

With saving faith comes trust and hope. Dependence. Saw a video where a man had a little pup. Well, this pup missed him just the same whether he was gone an hour to the store or a minute to the trashcan. Reaction upon his return was always the same. Jumping, skipping, hopping and barking. With enthusiasm.

See, that pup knew this man was a life giving force for him and he devoted the entirety of who he was to the Master of his little life.

Folks, our lives are but a vapor. Here today, gone tomorrow. It’s not hard to devote yours to the Life-giver.

The gift Jesus gives is a life saver and a life changer. I know.

How do I know?

I was the first guy.

I have been changed.

So whenever you feel unloved, unimportant or insecure, remember the words of Jesus from John 14, “When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”

He’s coming back. And though it may seem hard to imagine but like that pup, I intend to be at the door hopping, skipping and jumping. With enthusiasm. Because my Master has returned.

And, there’s plenty of room to run in His House!

Y’all go to church tomorrow.

Have a great Saturday!😊
